BALCONY DOORS
A balcony door has a nice narrow frame, and is sometimes called a window door, as it is popular, e.g., in bedrooms where extra exit is wanted. The balcony door is also popular in multi-storey buildings in which a turn-tilt function is advantageous.
ADVANTAGES OF BALCONY DOORS
- Suitable for, e.g., bedrooms, patios, and multi-storey buildings.
- Comes as outward and turn-tilt element.
- Available in 2- and 3- layer glass in wood or wood/aluminium (but not turn-tilt).
CHOOSE BETWEEN TWO OPENING FUNCTIONS
The balcony door can be made as an outward-opening door, or with a turn-tilt function. I.e., two different opening functions. This type of balcony door is often referred to as a turn-tilt door. The turn-tilt door’s opening functions are activated via the handle on the side door’s side frame. The two opening features are especially popular with multi-storey buildings, as the outside of the door can be easily cleaned from the inside. The narrow frame of the balcony door allows for greater light in the home.
